Vietnamese American Community of Oklahoma City and Vicinity will be hosting Lunar Moon Festival on Saturday October 7, 2017 at Military Park (Corner of Classen and NW 24th St) from 4 p.m to 10 p.m.
The Lunar Moon Festival ( Vietnamese: tết Trung Thu) is a harvest festival celebrated by ethnic Vietnamese and Chinese people. The festival is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar with full moon at night, corresponding to late September to early October of the Gregorian calendar with full moon at night.
We will have Dragon Dances, Traditional Dance Performances, Food Trucks Vendors, Business Booths, Games through out the event.
This event is a free and open to public. Children will be given free lantern, candles, candies and toys.
Please come and join us to celebrate Lunar Moon Festival right in the heart of Asian District.
