Join Science Museum Oklahoma from 6-9:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 15, for a screening of «Jason and the Argonauts,» the first film in SMO's «Ray Harryhausen — Mythical Menagerie» fall film and lecture series. In the 1963 film Tom Hanks called “the greatest movie ever made,” the legendary Greek hero Jason leads a crew on a quest for the Golden Fleece.
Guests will have access to concessions, cash bar (21+), and the chance to view «Ray Harryhausen — Mythical Menagerie» in SMO's smART Space before the screening.

«Ray Harryhausen — Mythical Menagerie» is a comprehensive exhibition of the original models, prototypes, bronzes, sketches and storyboards of the fantasy films of stop-motion animation pioneer Ray Harryhausen that can only be seen in SMO’s smART Space galleries.
The exhibition includes art and models from “Clash of the Titans,” “The 7th Voyage of Sinbad,” “Jason and the Argonauts,” “The Golden Voyage of Sinbad” and “Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger.”
Tickets for «Jason and the Argonauts» are $10 per person. Tickets may be purchased online, over the phone, or at the museum during regular business hours.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the film will begin at 7 p.m.
