The Oklahoma Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) is proud to present Civility Matters, an effort to promote the first specific purpose in ABOTAʼs constitution: “To elevate the standards of integrity, honor, and courtesy in the legal profession.” The program is co-chaired by Monty Bottom and Gary Homsey. A distinguished panel of lawyers and judges including Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Oklahoma Douglas L. Combs will discuss the importance of civility in the practice of law. Panelists will share how the culture of incivility in the law manifests itself and will address strategies for achieving a more civil, and more enjoyable, practice of law.
Approved for 3 hours of ethics CLE credit by the Oklahoma Bar Association.
Please RSVP by Friday, October 6, 2017.
