A 4 week course comparing Oklahoma Grown wine varieties to wines from around the world. Each month a specific wine variety will be chosen, discussed and blind tasted as follows:
Jan 21st 2-5 PM — Riesling
February 18th 2-5 PM — Cabernet
March 18th 2-5 PM- Chardonnay
April 15th 2-5 PM- White Zinfandel
Class discussion and lecture will include differences in wine varieties by reigon, tasting technique, pairing trends and reasons for varietal differences across the world. You will blind taste 5 to 6 wines during each class, one being a real Oklahoma grown wine, make notes and then the wines will be revealed for discussion. Light appetizers and pallette cleansers will be provided. This class is a fun and educational experience, perfect for the novice, wine lover, and connoisseur alike.
