If it’s the middle of June and solidly into summertime, then it’s gotta be time for the OKC Mile presented by Indian Motorcycle Of Oklahoma City at beautiful Remington Park in Oklahoma City. Race day this year is June 16th, and given the super challenging deep cushion monster mile, wide, multi-line corners and superheated competition between the AFT’s top riders and motorcycle marques, it’s bound to be a hot and heavy afternoon and evening of racing.
In 2017, the Indian Motorcycle ‘Wrecking Crew’ cleaned up, with Jared Mees, Brad Baker and Bryan Smith going one, two and three, respectively. Honda-mounted Shayna Texter grabbed one of her five wins here, narrowly beating Tristan Avery, with Parker Norris taking third.
With its lush grounds, track-side bleachers, comfortable inside seating options and various fan-friendly accoutrements happening all day long, the OKC Mile at Remington Park is a perfect destination for hard-core fans and families alike. So come on out and enjoy the sights, sounds and sensational action of Mile motorcycle racing. There’s nuthin’ like it!
