Come spend 4 hours at the farm and let us take you through the steps of Preserving your Harvest. We will cover Canning and the difference between acidic foods and none acidic foods and when you water bath and whenn you need to use a pressure canner. Freezing and how to blanch those veggies before you freeze them and all the different herbs and veggies that can go straight to the freezer with out blanching. We will have a guest Farm here covering Dehydrating and Freezing Drying, they will bring there Dehydrator and Freeze dryer to demo them and walk you through the steps. We will have the recommended equipment here for you to see and handouts for you to take home to help you with the processes.
